Mary Emma and Jacob met the modern way — on Hinge. What started as a simple match quickly turned into something neither of them expected. Within two weeks, they were officially dating… and fun fact: Mary Emma is Jacob’s very first girlfriend.

At the time, Jacob was living in Nashville and Mary Emma was in Daphne, Alabama, which meant their love story began with a lot of miles between them. Their very first date was at Tamara’s in downtown Fairhope, followed by wandering through the local farmer’s market — the start of countless food dates and sweet little traditions.

From there, their relationship was built on long-distance FaceTimes, 14-hour round-trip drives just to spend a weekend together, and making the absolute most of every minute they had. In between the miles, they made memories at sporting events, a concert, Topgolf, weddings, beach days, and so many ordinary moments that felt anything but ordinary.

After ten months of long distance, they decided enough was enough. Jacob packed up and moved to be with Mary Emma — and it’s been the sweetest season yet. Now working at the same place and finally getting to share everyday life together, they’ve grown in the small, intimate moments they once missed.

And now… they’re getting MARRIED!
